Windows could not connect to the System Event Notification Service.

Open Command Prompt (CMD) as Administrator

 

Windows XP

Make sure you are logged in as an Administrator account.

1.       Click Start, then Run.

2.       Type cmd and press Enter.

Windows Vista, 7 or newer

1.       Click the Start button. (or press the windows key on your keyboard)

2.       Type cmd (don’t hit Enter button).

3.       In the list, under programs you should see a file called cmd.

4.       Right click on it and select Run as administrator.

5.       Click Yes or Continue

Type netsh winsock reset in the command prompt and press Enter.

Restart the computer.
